Successful Objection to an Application for Two Dwellings in Open Countryside

A speculative application for two dwellings on the edge of a village, in open countryside was submitted across the road from our client. We objected on their behalf and not only listened to their concerns but also presented arguments that they have not considered. The site was on the edge of the Conservation Area and detrimentally affected the setting of a Listed building.

It was very satisfying when the application was refused, and the Planning Officer’s delegated report read almost word for word as our objection statement. A very happy client especially since this was the second project undertaken for him, both which had positive result for him.
