Application Granted for Stables and a Garage

Local Planning Authority
An application was made on behalf of our client for a stable block for private use and a three bay garage.

The applicants wished to keep their horses on their land, which runs to 6 acres, and to make use of the sand school.

Therefore our team put in an application to construct a stable block with storage for feed, hay and tack and a wash down area. Furthermore, we also put in an application for a three bay garage.

Our team were able to demonstrate that the general location of the proposal is acceptable and suitable for equestrian use. The stables and the garage were carefully designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. The proposed planting of additional hedgerow species will provide a biodiversity net gain.

Finally, we were able to demonstrate that the proposal met the demands of national and local planning policy.
