Successful Application for Glamping Pods

This was the third time we have successfully obtained planning permission for our client.

Our team submitted a planning statement support to support the application for the siting of two glamping pods within a paddock adjacent to the existing stable yard at the farm.

The farm is owned and run by the applicant. The buildings are used for horses within the family and a small flock of sheep, which graze the land.

Our team were able to show that the design and small scale nature of the development will not have a detrimental impact upon the character of the rural area, the AONB or the amenities of nearby residents.

We were able to demonstrate that there will be substantial biodiversity net gain to the wider site and the development will contribute positively to the rural economy. Finally, we demonstrated that the application had no conflict with the policies of the Local Plan or NPPF.

The pods will be supplied by Lune Valley Pods.

The Council approved the application.
