Certificate of Lawful Existing Development Issued Confirming Commencement of Development

Our client had bought a site with planning permission for the erection of a barn and the previous owner had dug the foundation trench to implement the permission, but proceeded no further.

The case we presented to the council was robust and clear, so they were able to issue the certificate. Without this Certificate the approval for the barn had technically lapsed.

The client is now able to prove the work has started and able to construct the barn at their leisure.
